The New York Times’s newest word game, Connections, has been all the rage on social media lately. It challenges players to group 16 words into categories they don’t know in advance. Newsweek’s got some hints and tips to help you out. Today’s groups are: Green, Blue, Yellow, and Purple.

The New York Times’ latest word game, Connections, is all the rage on social media. It’s a twist on the popular Wordle puzzle, and it requires players to group words together in four sets with a common theme.
The hints and answers for today’s green category are the names of amounts or quantities in science: HERTZ, MOLE, SECOND, VOLT. Green is one of the easier categories.

This is the latest daily word game from the New York Times (owners of Wordle). The goal of Connections is to group 16 seemingly disparate words into sets of four that share something in common.
This can be tricky because some words will seem to belong in more than one category. To help, Newsweek has a few tips to get you started.
